Sculati Wealth Management started with David Sculati’s desire to create a more capable firm that would offer much more than basic financial planning and investment management. Now nearly a decade later David’s dream of offering a more holistic approach to wealth management is a reality.
The foundation of Sculati Wealth Management is trust. Our reliable financial professionals have been helping clients build a comfortable life since the company’s inception. We offer services focused on financial planning and investment management to help you manage your wealth and reach your goals. The Sculati Wealth Management process starts with a personalized financial plan that is geared towards you. We build long-term relationships with our clients some of which have been with us since the start.
At Sculati Wealth Management, our priority is not growing the business but protecting it. Retention and client relationship management are of the utmost importance to us. People hire us to help them define their goals, create a plan, implement the plan, and manage it for the rest of their lives. Having the various professionals in our office to meet all of their financial needs rather than dealing with three or four different people in different locations is a large part of why people hire us. David Sculati began his career in the investment business at Dean Witter over 20 years ago in 1995. After just two years, when the company was acquired by Morgan Stanley, he was approached by a senior broker to help launch White Pine Investment Company, an independent firm in Livonia, Mich.
David spent the next 13 years at White Pine serving as Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Compliance Officer. After helping White Pine to become a viable concern, he wanted to create a more capable firm that would offer much more than basic financial planning and investment management. David made the decision to leave White Pine in 2010 to create his namesake, Sculati Wealth Management, and follow his vision of offering a more holistic approach to wealth management.
David and his wife Carrie are the proud parents of Eleanore (2002) and Anderson (2004). He feels extremely grateful that he gets to work every day, making a living doing what he loves. Outside of the office his main hobby and passion is training for and competing in Ironman Triathlon events. When he is not swimming, biking, or running, he also loves eating. You can always find him seeking out the next great meal, and if you’re with him, it’s his treat.
David also proudly serves on the Board of Directors of Growth Works, Inc., a nonprofit agency in Plymouth, Michigan that offers substance abuse treatment services to adults and youth as well as case management services to western Wayne County.
